Hi. I am Kathy Keller, aka “Design ChiKK”, a freelance graphic designer based in the Washington, DC, area.
I have been a graphic designer for over twenty years now, since graduating from James Madison University in Virginia. I actually was a math and science nerd growing up, but always had an artistic flair — I was that girl that spent extra time before and after school working on art projects that went above and beyond. Even still today, I always put my heart into every project I work on.
When I’m not designing at my computer, geeking out over something like Marvel movies, or volunteering at an animal rescue, I’m experimenting with different crafts. I find it relaxing, but I find that it also inspires my graphic design work. And, by my side for it all are my special needs puggle and snuggly cat.
